2nd Semester
The second term of LUMES comprises four compulsory full-time courses offered in the following order:
- Governance of Sustainability, 7,5 credits;
- Urban and Rural Systems and Sustainability, 10 credits;
- Economy and Sustainability, 7.5 credits, and
- Knowledge to Action, 5 credits
The second term is comprised of perspectives in governance and development. It provides case studies of both global and local place-based contexts. It builds on the first term foundation and provides a basis for the remainder of the programme.
From spring 2023 the second term of LUMES will comprise four compulsory full-time courses offered in the following order:
- Politics of Sustainability, 7.5 credits (replaces Governance of Sustainability, 10 credits);
- Geographies of Sustainability, 7.5 credits (replaces Urban and Rural Systems and Sustainability, 10 credits);
- Economy and Sustainability, 7.5 credits (replaces Economy and Sustainability, 7.5 credits);
- Methods and Tools - from Knowledge to Action, 7.5 credits (replaces Knowledge to Action, 5 credits).
Course syllabuses are currently being developed and will be published here in spring 2022.
